Long Form Terms and Conditions:

• These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of these Terms and Conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

• The promoter is: IELTS together whose registered office is at IELTS together, Unit 22485, PO Box 6945, London, W1A 6US. Do not send entries to this address.

• The competition is open worldwide to persons aged 18 years or over except employees of IELTS together and their close relatives and other group companies, its agents, or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion, organisation or judging of the competition. Proof of age will be required.

• There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

• To enter the competition, entrants must be subscribed to a mailing list with IELTS together.

• By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

• Entrants are limited to ONE entry per person during the Promotional Period. Multiple email accounts may not be used by the same entrant to enter the Prize Draw more than once. Anyone trying to circumvent this rule by using alternative details will be disqualified from this promotion. Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted.

• Closing date for entry will be midnight on 05/11/24. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

• No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

• The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

To enter the Prize Draw, Entrants must, during the Promotional Period, visit https://www.ieltstogether.com/bundles/speak-ielts-together, sign up and create a complete profile with a real photo of their own face (aged 18+).

• The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

• The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

• The prize is as follows:

• ONE free mock IELTS Speaking Test - encompassing each section of the Speaking test - PLUS teacher feedback.

• The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. The  prize is subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

• Winners will be chosen by the organiser at random.

• Any feedback provided may be used on any of our social media channels (including Facebook, Instagram or YouTube) or on our website: www.ieltstogether.com. 

• The Prize Winners will be announced via email on 06/11/2024.

• The winner will be contacted via email by 12 midday on 06/11/2024. The winner will only ever be contacted by Joelle Lindsay (as a representative of IELTS together) or Charlotte Martin (as a representative of IELTS together). If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 48 hours of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The new prize winner will be notified within 1 (one) working day.

• The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be redeemed (and a suitable time will be arranged).

• If the winner cannot redeem the prize within three months, the prize will be withdrawn and offered to another entrant.

• Entrants that have not won a Prize will not receive notification that they have not won.

• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible or not received in accordance with entry instructions. No responsibility will be accepted for any entries that are delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Entries may be disqualified if incomplete or illegible.

• If the Promoter has reasonable grounds to suspect any Entrant or third party of cheating, deception or fraudulent conduct of any kind (including without limitation, manipulating the Prize Draw, choice of winner or any entry) the Promoter reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any Entrant, entry or person if it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

• Entrants who do not provide correct contact details or those who make an entry on someone else's behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter's discretion. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. No bulk, consumer group, third party or agent entries will be valid.

• In the event that the Prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

• The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants, will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

• The winner’s name will be available 28 days after the closing date by emailing the following address: [email protected].

• By entering the Prize Draw, the winner agrees that the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies accept no responsibility or liability for any damage, expense, cost, loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, business, contracts, revenues or anticipated savings), injury (other than our liability for personal injury or death as a result of its negligence) or disappointment of any kind suffered or sustained by any entrant in connection with this Prize Draw or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

• Entrants undertake that the information they submit is accurate, and consent to their Personal Data (which shall have the same meaning given to it under the Data Protection Act 2018) being passed to its agencies supporting with the Promotion.

• The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

• By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

• The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

• Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, MailChimp, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to IELTS together and not to any other party. By entering, Entrants acknowledge that MailChimp, Facebook and/or Instagram bear no responsibility for this Prize Draw and Entrants fully and completely release Facebook or Instagram from any liability whatsoever arising out of the Prize Draw.
